The Ekiti State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has faulted the presence of the Ekiti State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Jide Awe at the meeting of the APC’s state chairmen with President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja, reports Thisday.

The PDP said it is worrisome and embarrassing that President Buhari allowed Awe, who is a facing a murder charge, to attend a meeting along other state chairmen of the party.

Jackson Adebayo, the Publicity Secretary of the PDP in the state, in a statement in Ado Ekiti on Sunday, noted that it amounted to a direct show of support for murder for President Buhari, to have allowed Awe into the Presidential Villa.

He urged President Buhari to order Awe to appear before Court to answer to the alleged murder charges slammed on him by the state government.
